Dollies are available throughout the summer months, in fresh and saltwater, for recreational anglers. |
| Angling Opportunities: |
Most streams, and rivers are populated with an abundant supply of dollies. They are opportunistic feeders and often lie close to spawning salmon awaiting egg releases. |
| Recommended Tackle: |
Spinning Light-medium action rods with 6-10 lb. test monofilament line.
Fly-casting: Graphite fly rod in the 4-6 weight class. Floating lines with sinking tips are recommended.
Lures and flies should be purchased locally. |
| Table fare: |
A sea-run dolly, spiced to taste, wrapped in foil and cooked over an open fire is tough to beat. |
